Brenda Delahorne
ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Brenda, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Pasadena, California.
I am an LGBTQIA2S+ affirmative therapist. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and even, humor-filled. I work from a social justice, systemic, and trauma-informed lens. I offer an integrative approach that is body-based, compassionate, and exploratory.
I aim to provide a safe and empowering space for you to reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll create a container to identify and process your emotional experience, which will always involve respect for your autonomy.
As a relational therapist, I strive to build a meaningful connection with my clients. I bring my authentic self into the room, which sometimes involves sharing my emotional response to your experience as a way to bolster your self-exploration. To me, healing comes through self-acceptance, but that journey looks different for everyone! So, my job as a therapist is to provide space to slow down and self-reflect, whether that involves exploring the past or staying in the present.

I am experienced in working with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, co-dependence, grief & loss, ADHD, sociopolitical & eco-stress, life transitions, burnout, relationships, and self-care with technology. As a musician, I love working with creative folks to explore their processes, stuck points, and existential questions. Likewise, I also provide therapeutic support for healers of all types.
